PCBs MIS serves as resource for instituting effective, coherent, and comprehensive policy actions on sustainable PCBs Elimination Programme in Nigeria.

The Project Management Unit (PMU) has concluded the PCBs Inventory Training Workshops on Safe and Effective Inventory of PCBs in Power Installations in three segments, based on geopolitical zones of inventory States, viz:- North-West & North-East Zones (Bauchi, 20th – 22nd September 2021), North-Central & South-West Zones (Nasarawa, 27th – 29th September, 2021) and South-South & South-East Zones (6th – 8th October 2021).
Participants were drawn from Federal and State Ministries of Environment, Project Steering Committee, representatives of the Power Sector Operatives, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), PCBs Inventory Consultants & Staff, the Academia, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) and the Media. 235 participants, among whome were 46 women, went through the intensive practical training. Following this exercise, the Field Teams are scheduled to proceed to their various States of assignment on 10th November 2021. The inventory activities in 22 States will run simultaneously.

ANNEX VI GRIEVIANCE REGISTERATION FORM
The Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) provides a formal avenue for affected individuals or groups to engage with the Grievance Redress Committee (GRC) on issues of concern or unaddressed impacts in relation to the activities of ESM&D of the PCBs Project.
The aim is to identify and manage grievances from individual stakeholders or stakeholder groups. Timely redress or resolution of such grievances to ensure successful implementation of the project.
The GRM for the Project will be managed by the GRC formed by the Project Steering Committee (PSC) and PMU, ensuring that the process is overseen by relevant stakeholders.
The GRM process involves the following:
i) No cost will be imposed on those raising the complaint;
ii) concerns arising from Project implementation will be adequately addressed in a timely manner;
iii) participation in the grievance redress process should not preclude the pursuit of legal remedies under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The GRM comprises the following four stages:
i) reception;
ii) investigation and inquiry;
iii)response;
iv) follow up and closeout.
